We are Plateaupians for Peace, a nonprofit 501(c)3 organization based in Sammamish, WA. Our mission is to promote a united, supportive, and inclusive community. We are here to support and act in solidarity with our LGBT+, Muslim, immigrant, refugees, disabled, homeless, and other neighbors who feel marginalized. Hugs not hate. We welcome people of any political party, race, color, religion, gender, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, national origin, wealth status, age, disability, or veteran status.
We humbly acknowledge that we are on the ancestral lands of the Duwamish and Snoqualmie Peoples, who were living here long before the arrival of the first European settlers and are still a vital part of our community today. We strive to follow their example of living in harmony with each other and with the land that sustains us.
